Many a time I was asked how we sustain Beauty Hero Club. Well… that was indeed a very thoughtful question, a question only ‘a friend’ will ask. They will tell us its a great movement to finally have an online media space to broadcast especially our Asia creative artist. To finally showcase their work not because they are famous but because they are passionate about the hair and beauty industry. Well, this movement is holy, but… ‘only’ if Beauth Hero Club can survive in this loooooong and lonely road of hair and beauty industry.
So, after setting up Beauty Hero Club for 2 years, our learning is that we should not broadcast only hair and beauty artist, it should be ‘Creative Artist’ that we are talking here!! It’s Beauty (Heroes) specialist, not limited to Photographer, Videographer, Art Director, Fashion Designer, Hairdresser, Make Up Artist, Nails Technician, Beautician and more…
In order to start featuring creative artist, we launch our first #creativejam together with BHC photography competition’17 . Our inspiration was from KC Eng (which I didn’t tell him until I write it here. Well, he will still not know if he didn’t read this hahahaha. Can someone help us tell him? Cause tagging does not mean he will read this).
Our first #creativejam shot was much more difficult then we thought. What ever can go wrong… goes wrong ;( (you know what I mean). Ofcause you will not see the down side in our first #creativejam post. That is because I am a positive Journalist wahahahaah
Well well, we become bolder after our first #creativejam (do check out the rest in BHC blogs). From 2 models, 2 hairstylist, 1 MUA, 1 photographer to… you need to check out our blogs if you ‘really’ want to know!!
Okie okie so what is the key take away from this?
The birth of Beauty Hero Club is to support creative artist so we can continue to work, play and be merry!!
So, what is ‘Creative Artist of Singapore’ all about??
They are a small group (for now) of creative hairstylist who wants to connect with much more creative artist (Photographer, Videographer, Art Director, Fashion Designer, Hairdresser, MUA) to form up this ‘Creative Artist Club’ in different country so they can cross breed their passion!! YES, CROSS BREED… PASSION!!
Creative Artist of Singapore 1st networking session was held in Beauty Hero Club office (not that our office is huge, it’s just because our co office have an event space and cafe). We move here because they can actually convert this cafe into a long enough runway for your mini hair and fashionshow. Don’t believe it? You can come see on our next networking session (Cause we only work 1day a week wahahahah). Follow Beauty Hero Club FB for happening updates.
