“Like any other beauty and hair artists, I, too, started at the bottom. At first, I had little to no knowledge about hair cutting, coloring, or styling, but I knew right from the start that I have deep love for hairstyling. With this love, I have learned heaps of creative skills and have honed them through time. Now, I just want to share all knowledge that I have to all those who was just like me back then. That’s why I am very amazed with this event. It gives opportunities for all amateurs to learn new skills and knowledge about the industry.”
Robbie Liu is now the National PPS Manager of Schwarzkopf. He was also the educator for Vidal Sassoon Academy Shanghai and Debut Hair Academy & Salon. Prior to that, Robbie had keen interest in learning culinary, especially French cuisine. His reason for joining this industry is because he enjoys putting his creative skills into practice.
He was recently involved in the NOISE Taipei 2016, an event that showcased new approaches to hairdressing. His inspiration comes from the Japanese Manga characters. He has an eye for details and foresees changes in the hair styling industry.
Robbie is passionate about his career as a hairstylist and works very hard to share his knowledge with his students in Debut. He hopes to open another branch in Taiwan and looks forward to launch his own range of products.
He will be judging this year BHC’s International Hair Photography Competition, organized by Beauty Hero Club. More details available here
